The Permanent Secretariat of NECSTouR will intervene at the Round Table "Blue and Green Growth - Green Tourism - Green Mobility in the Sea and in the Territory"

The event is organised on the 29th of June in Banyuls-sur-Mer, which is part of the Eastern-Pyrénées with the support of the Occitanie Region.

 

Sustainable Certification: a Competitive Advantage for Tourism Destinations

The Catalan Government organised a twofold event: EU Ecolabel awards on Tourism Accommodation, handed by the Catalan Regional Minister of Territory and Sustainability and a Raising awareness session to introduce the EU Ecolabel on Tourism Accommodation to the Catalan sector: how to endorse it, what are the benefits (quality, efficient management of natural assets, local consumption, jobs), what are the marketing opportunities (new branding, positioning, innovation, sustainable growth).

The Summer School Local Food Heritage as a Prerequisite of Sustainable Food Tourism Development will take place in Prague from August 26th till September 2nd, 2017 and is a part of activities included to UNWTO calendar of activities for the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development. We prepared an intensive week-long program focused on sustainable tourism development, food tourism, and new media. The Summer School is a unique opportunity to study tourism in English in a historical center of Prague while using modern learning methods.

The Consortium meetings are the main events in which the partners meet each other, exchange opinions, discuss and evaluate project activities, work as a team.

The kom meeting has the purpose to recap the project vision, logical framework and objectives, review the objectives and activities forecasted for each WP, collect partners’ ideas on how to carry out activities, agree on the project governance rules and information flow, and decide the first implementation steps.
