28 November 2017, Brussels.
This year’s programme will evolve around the topic of “The future of EU Tourism”.
The objective of the conference will be to exchange views on existing and new challenges and opportunities of EU tourism and engage in a discussion about priorities for tourism under the new Multi-Annual Financial Framework from 2020 onwards. We will debate about the necessary actions, actors and their roles at EU, national and regional level and will showcase best practices of turning challenges into opportunities.
The event will gather up to 400 participants, including Commissioners and representatives of the European Commission, high-level representatives of public authorities at EU, national and regional level. We will also line up representatives of prominent European sectorial associations and the tourism and travel industry as well as other relevant stakeholders.
