The Amfiteatru Foundation is organizing the fourth edition of the International Forum for Responsible Tourism. The event will take place in Bucharest between April 27-29th and the theme of this edition is "Responsible tourism in an urban space: identities and experiences of a metropolis". Responsible tourism is a powerful concept for understanding that travel and hospitality are directly connected in a relationship based on respect for community values. Recent studies show that the majority of tourists visiting Romania nowadays belong to the category of those who adhered to the principles of responsible tourism, informed travelers who seek experiences and destinations capable of delivering authenticity. It is a growing category, to which we need to need to respond by promoting, in order to increase the number of visitors and also by offering the right type of services, tourism products and destinations. Alexandru Constantinescu will represent NECSTouR at this event.
