The official opening ceremony of the EU-China Tourism Year has been organised on the 19th of January 2018 at the Palazzo Ducale, in the hearth of a city which has been traditionally a bridge between the western and eastern world, as Venice.

NECSTouR participation. Beside the Veneto Region which was co-organising the event, NECSTouR has been represented by its President, Mr. Patrick Torrent.

Opportunities for the European Regions. "The EU-China Tourism Year is a tremendous opportunity for the European Regions to actively promote their destinations towards the Chinese market - declared Mr. Torrent - and to jointly promote Europe as a single destinations, joining forces and increasing opportunities"

Your contribution. In the framework of its Working Group on Smart Destinations, NECSTouR will raise our regions voice, while we envisage facilitating the networking between the Chinese market experts which can be found among our members and their regional tourism promotion agencies.
