The Region of Andalusia- Member of NECSTouR - presented in Malaga on the 11th of June its new overall plan for Tourism Sustainability 2021-2025 through an international forum entitled "Designing the Future"

Mr Patrick Torrent - NECSTouR President, Region of Catalonia - intervened with other representatives from some of the main European tourism organisations and institutions during the debate entitled "The World as the Arena for Tourism Business" and aimed to analyse the current vision of the tourism sector in the world, with a particular focus on Europe.

The Tourism of Tomorrow. Reflecting about the needs of the Tourism of Tomorrow at the Regional Level, Mr Torrent underlined the importance of having a European Tourism Strategy with clear objectives and a wide vision.

Competitiveness and Sustainability. "If you ask me what tourism we want for Europe in 2030 and beyond - he said - I will reply that as much as we want to gain competitiveness, as much we need to invest in sustainability. The next tourism will be sustainable or it will not be!"
