European Week of Regions and Cities

This year, the European Week of Regions and Cities will spread over three consecutive weeks in October, each dedicated to one timely topic:

5-9 October: Empowering Citizens
12-16 October: Cohesion and cooperation
19-22 October: Green Europe, in cooperation with the Green Week.

 

How to register

There is time until 27 September to register and it is not an easy task.

Please, follow the following steps:
1. Login/Create an account;
2. Follow the instruction here to set up your Mobile phone details;
3. Look for a session and register. NECSTouR is invited to a series of events and we identified for you a total of 20 events where tourism is involved. Check here

October 13th: Industrial Cooperation & Smart Recovery

On behalf of the S3P-Industry Tourism partnership, NECSTouR Secretariat will illustrate the partnership experience on Tourism modernisation across the EU under the Specialisation Platform for Industrial Modernisation and plans for smart recovery after the COVID-19 crisis. Info and Registration

 

October 14th: Tourism – towards a recovery and growth path

NECSTouR is invited by DG Grow tourism unit to contribute to a Workshop on Tourism. Ile-de-France, member of NECSTouR Executive Committee and leader of our Advocacy Task Force will speak at this online event. Balearic Islands and VisitScotland, another member of our Executive committee will also be present. Information and registration.

 

October 15th: How to promote the recovery of regional tourism after COVID-19

Patrick Torrent from the Catalan Tourism Board and NECSTouR President, will take part in this webinar with a representative from Flanders. Info and registration.

 

October 20th: Sustainable mobility in tourist destinations - Key solutions to replicate across the Mediterranean region

The Interreg MED Sustainable Tourism community is joining forces for Urban Transports Community catalogue of replicable solutions on sustainable mobility in the Mediterranean area. Info and registration.
