Tourism legislation and governance measures

A series of communications simplify and specify general regulatory acts regarding specifically the Veneto tourism sector.

Measures in the context of European Tourism Projects

Actions aimed at supporting the tourism sector in this delicate phase of recovery are pursued, through the opportunity offered by the projects presented as part of the Interreg programs.

The goal is to support the differentiation of the tourism product in order to fight against seasonality and extend the tourism offer available. Open air activities will therefore be particularly considered, encouraging outdoor activities as much as possible.

In particular, the TOURISM4ALL project aims to develop a network of accessible tourist destinations, with particular attention to the Venetian coast (beaches, open air), enhancing the natural and cultural heritage, promoting social inclusion through the enhancement of tourist services and interventions dedicated to people with "special needs", in order to make Veneto a destination for a substantial market segment that has good spending potential. The project also foresees actions aimed at improving the usability of services, access to information, training and reception by operators, spreading the concept of tourist hospitality for all.

With the strategic project TAKE IT SLOW, on the other hand, the aim is to support slow and sustainable tourism by raising awareness among operators of the knowledge and activation of certifications (green / ecolabel / emas, etc.), the development of differentiated tourism products, with focus on slow and outdoor tourism, training for the creation of product and service networks and the improvement of accessibility to information.

A series of project calls dedicated to different types of Veneto tourism operators, with different objectives (digitization, support for innovation and requalification, promotion of network and product, etc.) are being defined and approved.
