The development plan sets the path for long term, sustainable development of the Danish West Coast.

By gathering 3 DMOS and 11 municipalities the plan aims to support sustainable growth in tourism without harming nature.

Development in tourism is about creating good, local workplaces, sustainable growth and strengthening the qualities and hallmarks of the West Coast so that both tourists and locals have a better experience and better lives.

The main areas of attention in the development plan are: creating a cohesive West Coast destination; developing 18 holiday areas; having nature as the main attraction; development of differentiated overnight capacity and strategic investment promotion.
