Alexandru Constantinescu represented NECSTouR in the fourth edition of the International Forum for Responsible Tourism. The event took place in Bucharest between April 27-29th.
"I have been very honoured to have the opportunity to represent NECSTouR at this event" he declared at the end of his presentation.
The objective of this forum was to address the topic of 'Responsible Tourism in Urban Space: identities and experiences of a metropolis'.
NECSTouR presented its main activities in the fields of the working groups on Smart destinations and Cultural Tourism.
The intervention of NECSTouR took place in the panel related to 'Identities and experiences - vectors of comunity development'. During this panel, Mr. Maurizio Davolio from Italian Association for Responsible Tourism had a presentation regarding 'Good Practices and Responsible Tourism Experiences in Europe'. Among the participants of this conference there were also the Ambasador of Japan, the Ambassador of Tunisia in Bucharest, a representant from the Ministry of Montenegro, as well as many romanian businesses representatives.
Finally, rrepresentants from TUI uk&ireland are present to explain the importance of sustainable development of tourist destinations, action that goes hand in hand with un 17sdg goals.
