Is possible to make an intense spiritual experience for a young person visiting South Limburg?
Apparently the Netherlands are one of the most secularised countries in the world and young people are really not interested on traditional spirituality.
However, the Pilot test of the Spirit Youth that took place from the 24th to the 27th of January in Valkenburg and its surroundings clearly showed up a very interesting and multiple touristic offer for young people interested on spiritual tourism in this area.
In the name of all the NECStouR's Members, Patrick Torrent send a congratulation letter to the Mr Antonio Tajani, the new elected President of the European Parliament.
On his letter, Mr Torrent especially underlined the support that Mr Tajani and his cabinet provided in terms of innovation of policies and tools for a more sustainable and competitive tourism and especially the realisation of some models of sustainable management of the tousim destinations.
The third and final pilot testing of spiritual activities took place last week in Valkenburg, in the Netherlands, and you can see some photos from the week here. We are now gathering feedback from the pilot testers and are moving into the final phase of the project. Thank you to all that took part in the pilot testing!
We are extremely happy to announce that the three regional pilot tests have been successfully completed, with 75 people testing the activities in Prato, Montserrat and Girona. The groups completed 26 activities in the regions and will be providing feedback to help improve the spiritual offering. The regional stakeholders will also be providing feedback to help us improve the experience.
Hello everybody! As a new intern, I will try to bring my contribution in supporting Indicators and ETIS Working Group in measuring sustainable tourism development within different regions and destinations
