NECSTouR advocates for coordination on data use during HERIT DATA Final Conference

The Interreg MED project HERIT DATA showcased projects results during their Final Conference held from Madrid on the 7th of April. HERIT DATA partners includes our members from Tuscany, Occitanie and Valencia region and our friends from CPMR or Avitem. NECSTouR president presents our strategic actions on data monitoring during Panoramed event on costal and maritime tourism

NECSTouR President Dr. Manuel Alejandro Cardenete, deputy-minister from Andalucía Region, presented the Tourism of Tomorrow Lab and data-oriented projects in the Mediterranean area during PANORAMED high-level event on coastal and maritime tourism. It was the first public event unveiling our Handbook on How to use EU recovery funds and ERDF 2021-2027 for sustainable tourism in the Mediterranean region.

Tourism Manifesto Position Paper on the New Regulations for EU Digital Covid Certificate

NECSTouR and the other members of the Tourism Manifesto (70 public and private travel and tourism organisations) propose several amendments to the European Commission for the new EU Digital COVID Certificate Regulation with the aim to secure the freedom of movement across the continent and guarantee harmonised rules when the Certificate is in use.

NECSTouR releases statement on Invasion of Ukraine

In reaction of the invasion of Ukraine, Dr Manuel Alejandro Cardenete, President of NECSTouR issued the following statement on behalf of the whole NECSTouR Network:

In line with the values of mutual respect and democracy that underpin our European Continent, we firmly condemn this conflict in the hearth of our continent. From the deepest of our hearth we express our solidarity with the Ukrainian people and all the parties that are suffering the most because of this war.

NECSTouR presidency shares our priorities during the 2nd European Cruise Dialogue

On March 1st, 2022, the Directorate General for Maritime Affaires and Fisheries (DG MARE) organised the 2nd European Cruise Dialogue in Brussels. NECSTouR took part in the event through our president to share our priorities for sustainable cruise tourism management.
