Project description

ReStart a project funded by Interreg North-West Europe will develop and implement the ReStart Compass, a hands-on framework that guides stakeholders in applying, monitoring, and scaling regenerative tourism practices. Tested in nine pilots across Belgium, France, and the Netherlands and supported by a transnational Train-the-Trainer programme, ReStart builds capacity, supports businesses and destinations, and embeds regenerative tourism into policies and practice to foster a more resilient and inclusive tourism sector. Starting in January 2026, the project will continue for three and a half years, continuing until June 2029.
