We are very grateful to our network for this year, full of activities, insightful meetings, projects, and great events. Since 2007, we have undertaken a unique journey reaching today more than70 organisations around Europe, namely 40+ Tourism Regional Managing Authorities and 29 associated and academic members from the Private and Public sectors representing 21 European countries. Finally, we are expanding with a bright team coming from different European regions, united by the passion for tourism!
NECSTouR proudly announces to be part of the EU-funded DATES Tourism Data Space project. The aim of this project is to explore approaches and options for deploying a secure and trusted tourism data space, ensuring transparent control of data access, use and re-use.

NECSTouR was invited to take part in the policy session of the joint final event of the Interreg MED projects DESTIMED PLUS and BEST MED, hosted in Rome by Lazio Region on June 21. The event brought together key actors in the field of sustainable tourism and conservation to discuss how to better connect and integrate the initiatives of both projects. Thomas Guillot, project officer in NECSTouR took part in the session on “International and European Tourism policies for sustainable and responsible tourism”.
