NECSTouR is launching a call for an external expert to support the delivery of activities under the LIFE TOUR4CLIMA project, with a particular focus on strengthening climate action governance in European tourism destinations.

The selected expert will contribute to the work of the NECSTouR Climate Hub by identifying and analysing good practices in climate governance, supporting peer learning among destinations, and developing practical recommendations to improve the design and implementation of climate action strategies in the tourism sector.

The assignment includes:

• Developing a catalogue of good practices on climate action;
• Designing and facilitating two in-person workshops in Catalonia with a selected group of participating destinations, as well as an online webinar;
• Preparing a final report summarising key findings, lessons learned, and recommendations.

We are looking for a professional with demonstrated experience in developing climate action strategies, sustainable tourism, regional tourism policy, stakeholder engagement, and participatory facilitation methodologies.
