Brussels Climate Week taking place from 12-16 October will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, innovators, and communities to turn ideas into action. Across five days, the first ever Brussels Climate Week seeks to explore how technology, policy, and collaboration can accelerate Europe’s path toward sustainability and competitiveness.
NECSTouR is contributing to the programme as Community Partners in the Tourism in Transition official side event on 14 October.
The tourism event will bring together policymakers, city leaders, representatives from the travel and hospitality sectors, as well as transport providers, investors, and civil society to highlight how the wider tourism sector can decarbonise while strengthening competitiveness and resilience. In the tourism programme, NECSTouR’s Managing Director John Fitzgibbon will address how Europe’s destinations are leading the climate transition in tourism through highlighting good practices from within NECSTouR.
