
NECSTouR is delighted to invite all member regions and organisations to the 2026 Annual General Meeting, taking place from 21–23 April in Bourges, Centre-Val de Loire region, France, the designated European Capital of Culture in 2028. This year’s edition promises to be an inspiring and strategically significant gathering.
With a rich programme combining networking, learning, co-creation, and cultural discovery, the AGM will bring together regional leaders and destination managers, researchers and academics in tourism, EU institutional representatives, and innovators at a crucial moment for European tourism: the European Commission will publish its new European Tourism Strategy on 6 May, just days after our meeting. 2026 Theme: Tourism and Culture: from creation to legacy – building resilient and connected territories
