The latest report published last week “Snapshot: Resident Satisfaction with Tourism”,  brings brings a data-driven perspective on resident’s perceptions of tourism.

This study provides insights on public opinion on tourism through methodologically grounded analysis of more than 50 standard sentiment indicators collected from 30,000 interviews of residents drawn from the reference MMGY Resident Sentiment Index (RSI©) survey.

The report highlights broad patterns and general sentiment and, while it does not reflect the specific situation of individual destinations, it provides valuable directional insights and a useful reference point.
