Visit Flanders will remain as Vice President together with Tuscany and the newly appointed VisitScotland, while the Vice Presidencies of Andalusia, Île-de-France and Catalonia, through their shared commitment to leadership and continuity, have agreed on a rotating presidency:
This collaborative model guarantees experienced leadership, geographical diversity, and consistency in driving the NECSTouR 2030 Pathway forward.
The new NECSTouR President Elena Baena expressed her enthusiasm, stating:
“It is a privilege and a pleasure for Andalusia to take the NECSTouR Presidency succeeding Visit Flanders and we will proudly collaborate with our Vice Presidencies to keep reinforcing the network’s leadership in sustainability, innovation and smart tourism management in Europe. We commit to strengthening NECSTouR’s role in the upcoming European Tourism Strategy to ensure that NECSTouR Regions’ priorities are addressed by the European agenda.”
