Current Situation and Consequences

A number of Ile-de-France companies will be affected by the Ukrainian crisis. Also, the Region has decided to create a Ukraine task force, allowing it to have a "one-stop shop" to advise the companies affected.

For the case of agricultural and agri-food companies in the Ile-de-France region which are bearing the full brunt of the increase in the cost of energy, the cost of inputs, as well as the destabilization of the prices of agricultural raw materials, a system is being studied.

To deal with the resurgence of cybersecurity alerts targeting businesses, the Region is studying the creation of a “cyber check”.

Measures taken

To support displaced populations in Ukraine or refugees in neighbouring countries, the Île-de-France Region has released an aid of 500,000 euros to support actors working on the ground:

  • Civil Protection: 250,000 euros to provide medical equipment at the Dobrobut hospital, equipment for logistics, but also to distribute basic necessities to refugee populations in emergency accommodation centres on the Polish border.
  • The French Red Cross: 150,000 euros to provide emergency accommodation for refugees with basic necessities (food parcels, hygiene kits, etc.).
  • ACTED: 50,000 euros to distribute non-food items and hygiene kits to displaced families in Ukraine,
  • The Embassy of Ukraine in France: 50,000 euros for the purchase of basic necessities for displaced persons in Ukraine.

The Region is studying all the possibilities to provide accommodation for Ukrainian refugees who have come to France.

The Region is working to put in place specific measures to facilitate their social and professional integration by offering them training.

Alongside all these new measures, a call for solidarity has been launched towards the agents of the Region with the aim of collecting donations and basic necessities.
