The Good Practice aimed to create more year round and higher paid/quality jobs in connection with cultural and creative sectors.

Cornwall Priorities for Investment on November 2014

The aim was to Measures Transferring experiences and sharing solutions in order to promote cultural tourism preserving and disseminating the cultural legacy and incorporating local SMEs along the cultural routes. The initiatives has been financed by ERDF-InTERREG IVC.

Developing an Archeological Cultural Route to generate new cultural tourism products, strengthen the destination branding strategy with the help of ERDF fund.

CERTESS by the Andalucía Region: Transferring experiences, Sharing Solutions

The aim was a sustainable tourist territorial development around a coastal or riverside destination and its pleasant harbour (by following the Odyssea tourist model). The investiments priorities were to introduce the ICTs in the promotion, dissemination and commercialization of resources and products of tourist destinations and the territories around, incorporating local SMEs related direct or indirectly with tourism service. The initiative has been financed by the ERDF.

CERTESS of Andalusia: Transferring Experiences, Sharing Solutions

 

Current  Position -  November 2014

•The final programme has yet to be approved by the UK Government and EC

•Draft progamme for ESF and ERDF is “sector blind” i.e does not include or exclude any sector

•The high priority is  the value of the employment rather than volume.

•The EARDF programme is nationally administered in the UK and does include a specific reference to rural sustainable tourism development

Abstract: The project VIA LACTEA (Interreg II C) envisages the promotion and valorisation of cultural and natural heritage of territories historically touched by the Way of St. James.

Name of the cultural route: Ospitalità Italiana HOTSPOT

Abstract: The project aimed at developing a branded and interactive virtual environment that is an innovative web platform for engaging tourists in the cultural heritage of tourist destinations as well as in wine and food tourism.

Veneto's Experience on Cultural Itinearies at the European Tourism Forum 2014

 

Name of the cultural route: Restoration and promotion of the Great war museum of Inssbruck

Abstract: The Veneto region is working with Land of Tirol (Austria) at a special project in the field of the promotion of cultural and natural heritage. The Interreg IV B project is about the restoration and promotion of the Great War Museum of Innsbruck and of the battlefields in Veneto, finally returned to be part of natural world.
