Call for contribution to the DG REGIO Study on COVID-19 Impact on Tourism

Following a Call for Tender, NECSTouR is engaged in a partnership devoted to conduct a study on regional tourism on behalf of the European Commission. NECSTouR members are invited to participate in this survey on how the tourism sector can be made more resilient in the future.

The survey collects information on

  • (a) regional and sector sensitivities to COVID19 impacts
  • (b) experience with policy initiatives in the tourism sector
  • (c) future needs and opportunities in tourism.

If you are working with tourism or ERDF policies and public programmes or are part of a company, an association or a researcher involved in the tourism sector or tourism innovation, we would be happy to listen to your opinion.

The survey is available in multiple languages here: FILL IN THE SURVEY

Completing the survey only will take about 10-15 minutes of your time. Please complete the survey until 15 February 2021. Information collected through the survey will be treated anonymously and aggregated for analysis.
General context: The European Commission Directorate General for Regional and Urban policy (DG REGIO) launched a study to assess the impact of COVID-19 on tourism regions and propose policy recommendations on how to make tourism regions more resilient in the next years. A consortium led by Spatial Foresight, in cooperation with NECSTouR and t33 and AnySolution is conducting this study.
