The highly anticipated Members Platform was officially launched last 23rd of September. The platform, developed with the help of the renowned tech agency, Symantra, has been tailored to enhance our members' experiences by providing a safe space to network, share and access exclusive content. 

To introduce the platform and help members become familiar with the new features, we also hosted an online webinar on September 26th, which gathered over 40 participants from different NECSTouR regions. The session provided an in-depth demonstration of the platform's functionality, highlighting its networking capabilities and guiding the members through an interactive tutorial. The gathering and active participation of the members demonstrated a strong interest in the platform's potential, and the members' eagerness to start exploring the benefits. 

Key Features of the NECSTouR Members' Platform: 

• Dedicated Working Groups 

  • Members can join specific working groups that align with their areas of expertise and the NECSTouR 2030 Pathway. Each group offers a focused space to share insights and access the latest updates, meetings, and discussions relevant to their interests. 

• Centralized Document and Resource Access 

  • The platform provides an easy-to-navigate repository for important documents, including project reports, best practices, and meeting notes, making resource sharing more seamless and efficient. 

• Comprehensive Event Calendar 

  • Members can now keep track of upcoming events and meetings across all NECSTouR working groups, with a curated calendar that offers insight into valuable networking and learning opportunities. 

• Enhanced Networking Opportunities 

  • The platform connects professionals across NECSTouR regions, helping members find others with shared goals and create new synergies and partnerships. 

• Projects Hub 

  • NECSTouR’s Projects Hub has migrated to the new platform, providing access to training materials, funding opportunities, and connections with potential project partners. This centralized hub aims to strengthen project proposals and enhance members’ access to resources. 

As we continue to grow, this collaborative platform represents a pivotal step forward in creating a connected and thriving community committed to sustainable tourism. We are excited to see the platform become a powerful tool to enable our members to work more effectively, drive innovation, and shape the European tourism industry.
