Objectives of the Report

Tourism of Tomorrow Lab is a specialised department of NECSTouR.

This document is a brief summary of a broader work, developed for the Valencia Region, which aims to improve efforts to attract, retain, and train technological talent for the tourism sector.

This study replies to three specific questions:

Our partner in the INTERREG MED Sustainable Tourism project and centre of expertise for development and environment for countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea, Plan Bleu, has contributed to the 40 Expert Perspectives on the future of coastal and marine tourism that gather and showcase a wide range of perspectives on the futur

WTTC publishes new report on destination resilience

In 2019, the Travel & Tourism sector’s contribution to GDP was 10.3% and fell to 5.3% in 2020 when the pandemic was at its height.
